Policies
Grime Fighters Bin Cleaning offers premium services.
Our most important policy to ensure a successful visit.
When our technicians arrive at your home, they will clean every bin that is left empty and visible for them. To keep our routes running efficiently and on schedule, our technicians are trained to clean every bin that is clearly visible when we arrive. If we can see it from the street or driveway when we pull up to your home, we will clean it. However, we do need your help. Bins must be left empty and visible in order for us to service them. For liability and safety reasons, we do not enter backyards or enclosed areas. Additionally, stopping to ring doorbells or make phone calls slows down the entire route and impacts service for other customers.Â
Bins must also be empty. That’s why we schedule service the day of your trash pickup. While our technicians may occasionally remove a small bag or loose item as a courtesy, that is the exception — not the policy. If there is ever a bin you do not want cleaned, simply leave it in the garage, backyard, or place a sticky note on it so our technicians know to skip it.
We are happy to reschedule you for any reason. Please call or email us at least one day prior to your service to reschedule your service. If you fail to contact us one day in advance and we service your bins, you will be charged for the service. If you fail to call ahead and we show up to unservicable bins, we will charge you our $10 service fee.
We will send an invoice to the email/phone number you provided us after each service is complete. From there you can enter a card through our secure portal. With a card, you may elect to save it on file and enroll in autopay--we will charge your card after your services are complete.

We do not accept cash at all for any reason. We also do not accept checks for recurring bin services or for any amount under $250.
You want your bins cleaned and we want to clean them. If we come to service your bins and they are unservicable for any reason (full of trash, locked away, etc), you may be charged for the full service.
Â
Our prices mainly reflect the time and gas it takes to drive to your home, so if we drive all the way and can't service them, we need to charge for the trip. Often, we will send a $10 service fee for the first offense, but our policy is to charge for the full service.

Our prices are the same regardless if you have one bin or two.
Â
Therefore, if one bin is unserviceable, we will clean the serviceable one at our normal rate—whether it is trash or recycling.
Â
We understand that there are often issues with trash pickup or other challenges outside your grasp. We ask that if you anticipate these issues, please call and reschedule the day before.
We hate to see any of our customers leave, but we understand that things happen in life. If you would like to cancel/pause your service, please call or email us (at least one day prior to your scheduled service) and we will cancel/pause your service but would be happy to bring you back on whenever the time is right!

If you are on our monthly or quarterly program and have not had three cleanings, we will charge your previous cleanings at our one-time rate and rebill you the difference.
We kindly ask that you pay your invoice on the day of your service. We will always send an invoice immediately following service, and we will send courtsey reminders via email and text two days, seven day, and fourteen days after.
Â
We will continue to reach out after that. We will apply a $10 late fee for every 30 days overdue an invoice becomes.

If you fail to pay your invoice after 30 days, you may be required to keep a credit card on file to continue receiving services, or may be taken off services completely. Services that go unpaid will be brought to small claims courts. We absolutely hate going down that path and we promise it will cost you more than just paying for the excellent service(s) you requested.
We are happy to offer a second bin for free in all of our prices! After the 2nd bin, we charge per additional bin. Monthly services are $10 per additional bin.
Â
Quarterly services are $15 per additional bin. One time services are $20 per additional bin. This includes any additional trash bin, recycling bin, or even an inside trash can.
Recycling Bins are generally cleaner and easier to service. However, recyling pickup and trash pickup days can conflict and make it hard to find a service time where both are empty.
We typically schedule our service day the day of your trash pickup to ensure we can clean the trash bins. If your trash bins are servicable but your recyling is not, we will service your trash bins and bill you at your current rate.
Â
If you would like to ensure the recycling bins get cleaned properly please either ensure the recycling bin is empty, temporarily remove the recyclables for our service, or request a different service date that works best for both bins.

Feel free to reach out and see if we can align better with your recycling if we somehow get off track.
